Own The Flyover

The Push to 1,000

We’re nearly at 900 investors! Last week, we started a 10-day push to 1,000, and we’re down to four days to meet our goal.

The Flyover

Don’t forget: Everyone who invests before we hit the $2 million mark will get 10% bonus shares. We’ve raised over $1.3 million in a few weeks, and we don’t know how long the bonus shares will last.

A few days ago, we mentioned three reasons to invest in The Flyover. Today, we’ve got two more for you:

1: Our audience size
Did you know that The Flyover’s audience is larger than the primetime viewership of MSNBC and CNN combined? America has shown strong demand for our unbiased approach, and our market share is growing daily.

2: Our margins
Lots of companies raise money on hope, but we’re raising money on a solid financial foundation. We operate at an 80% gross margin and 24% net. Invest in a company that’s already profitable!

We’re looking for 110 Flyover readers to join our cause in the next four days. Will you be one of them?

The Roundup

Article Icon 1UNC Aims for Statement Win Against TCU

UNC football will welcome TCU into Kenan Stadium tonight at 8 p.m. for its highly anticipated primetime 2025 season opener. The Tar Heels enter the matchup as 3.5-point underdogs.

The game is particularly important for the Tar Heels’ new coach, six-time Super Bowl champion Bill Belichick, who’s already faced media scrutiny this summer over his 24-year-old girlfriend, Jordon Hudson

UNC named Gio Lopez, a South Alabama transfer who threw for 18 touchdowns last season, as the starting quarterback. The team’s revamped roster—which features more than 70 new players—faces a tough test against TCU’s experienced front seven on defense.

The TCU offense is led by quarterback Josh Hoover, who passed for nearly 4,000 yards and 27 touchdowns last season. Expect a high-energy battle as UNC leverages home-field advantage with hopes of kicking off 2025 with a statement win.

Article Icon 1Fall Foliage Forecast and Best Viewing Spots

If you’re planning a fall foliage viewing trip to the North Carolina mountains this year, aim for Oct. 22 to experience peak colors, according to the fall foliage predictor Explore Fall.

Peak times also vary based on elevation. Blue Ridge Mountain Life, which categorizes the best leaf-peeping spots by date and location, advises heading to Graveyard Fields, Grandfather Mountain, Beech Mountain, Clingmans Dome, or Mount Mitchell the week of Oct. 1-9.

The Blue Ridge Parkway and Great Smoky Mountains National Park offer the best views Oct. 9-16, and Pisgah National Forest, Boone, Banner Elk, Maggie Valley, and Waynesville peak the week of Oct. 16-23.

If Oct. 23-31 is your target timeframe for leaf peeping, head to Asheville, Burnsville, Cherokee, Bryson City, Chimney Rock, Lake Lure, Hendersonville, or Saluda. Check Explore Fall’s Fall Foliage Map for live updates on the latest color changes throughout the season.
