Own The Flyover

The Final Push to 1,000+

Ten days ago, we set out on a mission to reach 1,000 investors. Without you, we could not make it. But here’s the deal: we only have one day left.

If you’ve been watching from the sidelines, now is the moment to step in and be one of the final investors who help us cross this milestone. Together, we can finish strong.

Invest in The Flyover today

You Have Questions. We Have Answers!

One of the top questions we get is: How do I get a return on my investment?

We believe in transparency. Like all investments, this carries risk—but here’s why The Flyover is different: we’re already profitable after just two years, with 80% gross margins and 24% net income. This puts The Flyover in the top 1% of media start-ups.

The three most common ways investors can realize returns are:

  1. A Sale: A larger media company or strategic partner could acquire The Flyover. If that day comes, we’d only partner with those who uphold our high standards. CNN or NPR need not apply.
  2. Public Listing: While we’re private today, the future could include listing on a stock exchange, giving owners and investors freedom to buy and sell their shares.
  3. Profit Distributions (Dividends): Because we’re profitable now, unlike most startups, dividends are a real possibility in the future.

To recap: 1. Sale. 2. Listing. 3. Distributions.

Your Last Chance

This is your opportunity to be part of something truly unique. Help us surpass our goal of 1,000 investors—we have one day left—and still qualify for up to 10% bonus shares.

It all comes down to this final day. Will you step up?

Article Icon 1State Test Scores Show Math, Reading Gains

The North Carolina Department of Public Instruction released 2025 test scores and graduation rates on Wednesday, revealing gains in 12 of 15 math and reading assessments. However, third-grade reading, English II, and NC Math I lagged behind 2023-24 results.

Proficiency rates across most subjects remain below pre-COVID levels from 2018–19, except for fourth-grade reading and math.

Third through eighth graders take math and reading tests, with fifth and eighth graders also taking a science test. High schoolers take Math 1, Math 3, English II, and Biology tests. Look up individual county results here.

The four-year cohort graduation rate reached a 10-year high of 87.7%, up from 87%, aligning with the state’s Strategic Plan. The ACT composite score for 11th graders also improved slightly to 18.2 from 18.1.

Article Icon 1Stein Creates AI Leadership Council

Gov. Josh Stein announced the creation of an AI Leadership Council on Tuesday to advance responsible artificial intelligence use and improve public services and efficiency across state agencies.

Authorized through an executive order, the council will be co-chaired by Secretary of Information Technology Teena Piccione and Secretary of Commerce Lee Lilley, and will advise the governor and state agencies on AI governance, research, and workforce training.

The order, announced during Stein’s NC Strong Update, also includes setting up an AI Accelerator within the Department of Information Technology and AI Oversight Teams in each state agency.

“If we do this right, we can use AI to help unlock economic growth, attract innovation, improve government efficiency, and prepare our workforce for the jobs of tomorrow,” Stein said.

Article Icon 1Bulls Owner to Manage Five County Stadium

Zebulon town leaders approved the sublease of Five County Stadium, which no longer meets MLB standards, to Capitol Broadcasting Company (CBC) on Tuesday. CBC also owns the Durham Bulls minor league baseball team and WRAL.

The agreement follows the Carolina Mudcats’ departure to Wilson, where they will play as the Warbirds in a new city-backed stadium and mixed-use development project.

CBC will sublease Five County Stadium to a team in the Coastal Plain League, a summer baseball league it owns that features college players. CBC also owns the Holly Springs Salamanders, another team in the Coastal Plain League.

As part of the agreement, Wake Technical Community College will use the stadium for baseball, softball, and soccer events. Zebulon and Wake County will be able to host up to 10 additional events there each year.
