Own The Flyover

We’re So Close. This Is the Moment.

We’re entering the final stretch of our campaign to reach 2,000 reader-investors, and we’re closer than ever. Eleven days ago, we set out with a simple but ambitious goal: prove that everyday Americans—not corporations or political machines—can build a trustworthy, independent newsroom together.

Today, we’re within striking distance.

If you’ve been thinking about investing…If you’ve been waiting for the right moment…
If you’ve wondered whether your contribution truly matters… This is that moment.
Every new investor helps strengthen something rare in American media: a reader-owned outlet committed to honesty, fairness, and fact-first reporting. Reaching 2,000 investors means more state editions, and more accountability—without compromising our independence.

We are so close to showing the country that a different kind of media company can exist—and thrive. But we can’t finish this without you.

If The Flyover has earned your trust, we hope you’ll take that final step with us.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s Operation Charlotte’s Web is shining a spotlight on North Carolina’s ninth-place national ranking in human trafficking violations.

In 2024, the National Human Trafficking Hotline recorded 301 cases in North Carolina involving 580 victims, including 145 sex trafficking incidents and 73 labor trafficking cases.

The Department of Homeland Security reports that Operation Charlotte’s Web has resulted in the arrests of illegal MS-13 and 18th Street gang members with records of assault, child exploitation, and other serious offenses.

Total arrests of illegal aliens during the operation have now surpassed 250, with Charlotte emerging as a major hub for human trafficking due to interstate corridors like I-77 and I-85 facilitating victim transport.
