🚨 Final Push: Help Us Hit Our Q3 Goal 🚨

When we launched this campaign, our goal was to be at 50% of our funding by the end of Q3. Today, we’re at 42%. With your help, we can close the gap before the quarter ends tomorrow.

Investments start at $750 (just $2 per share), and virtually every dollar is invested in growth: building new audiences, expanding into new states, driving more revenue, and fueling future profits.

What YOUR investment has already achieved:

  • Massive growth: When we started this raise in August, The Flyover had approximately 2.5 million readers. Just weeks later, we’re closing in on 3 million.
  • Texas: On track for 500,000 readers (or more!) by year’s end.
  • Florida: Growth surged 32% since new investments began—proof that investor support makes the difference.
  • The Flyover Podcast: Breaking records daily for listens and views as we expand into audio and video.
  • Exciting innovation coming soon: Our first-ever Flyover app and Flyover text alerts will give readers even more ways to access fact-first news.

Why invest now?

  • The Q3 finish line is tomorrow, and we’re behind our goal.
  • We’ve already raised $2.1 million from over 1,350 readers-turned-investors.
  • Every new investment helps us grow audiences, expand into new states, and strengthen a profitable, reader-owned media company.

Legacy media continues to mislead and disappoint. The Flyover is different: no corporate bosses, no bias, no agendas. Just fact-first news for common-sense Americans.

Will you help us close the Q3 gap and build the future of news by investing today?

Article Icon 1Governor Visits Southport After Mass Shooting

Gov. Josh Stein traveled to Southport Monday to meet with local leaders after Saturday night’s waterfront bar shooting that killed three and injured five.

Police identified the suspect as 40-year-old Nigel Edge of Oak Island, a Marine veteran formerly known as Sean Debevoise. Authorities say Edge, who has filed multiple lawsuits in recent years, targeted the riverside bar during a live music event.

Edge was arrested shortly after the shooting and faces three counts of first-degree murder, five counts of attempted first-degree murder, and five counts of assault with a deadly weapon. Prosecutors say the death penalty is a possibility.

Calling the attack “horrific,” Stein urged reforms to prevent future violence. “We must fix our broken mental health care system,” he said. “There are too many people in our communities with dangerous obsessions exhibiting threatening behavior who do pose risks. We have got to do better.”

Article Icon 1NC Urges Residents to Prep for Wildfire Season

North Carolina officials are urging residents to prepare for wildfire season, which typically runs from October through early December.

The state forest service reports that over 99% of wildfires are human-caused, with nearly 5,600 fires burning more than 34,000 acres across the state in the past year. Backyard burning, machinery use, and campfires remain the leading causes.

Agriculture Commissioner Steve Troxler warned of elevated danger in western North Carolina, where Hurricane Helene left more than 800,000 acres of storm-damaged forest—now acting as dry fuel.

Troxler urged homeowners to clear flammable debris and follow safety guidelines to reduce risk. The state also reminded residents to get burn permits, avoid burning on windy days, and never leave a fire unattended.

Article Icon 1Kindergartener Hears for First Time

Five-year-old Eliza Fowler of North Carolina, born with bilateral microtia—a rare condition where the outer ears and ear canals are underdeveloped—can hear clearly for the first time after undergoing a pioneering reconstructive surgery this summer.

Fowler, who had relied on a bone-anchored hearing aid since infancy, received a cochlear Osia implant in June after a 10-hour procedure with a California surgeon specializing in ear reconstruction for microtia.

Her mother said the moment Eliza heard her voice brought tears to her eyes, while family and doctors sang Happy Birthday to her new ears. Eliza is now back in school and awaiting a second surgery in October.
